CABINET MINISTERS AND MEN'S EXECUTIVE CONFER, ' (Rec. February 3, 7.15 p.m.) London, January 31. Mr. E. Shortt (hon. secretary), Sir Albert Stanley (President of the Board of Trade), and Admiral Calthorpe discussed the miners' demands with the extautive of the Miners' Federation. The Ministers promised to lay the facts before the War Cabinet, and expected a reply would be possible within a week.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable-Assn.
