ADMIRAL JELLICOE'S TOUR

EXTENDED FOE FIFTEEN MONTHS. , (Eec. February 3, 8.55 p.m.) London, January 31. It is understood that Admiral Jellicoe will start on his Empire tour on February 20. He will go first to India,'and thence to Australia. The tour has been extended for fifteen months, and will include New Zealand, South Africa, and Canada.' ACCOMPANYING EXPERTS. (Eec. February 3, 7.15 p.m.) London, January 31. Commander Sawbridgo, tho Admiralty expert in anti-submarine devices, will accompany Admiral Jellicoe for the, purpose of co-operating with Cpmmander Calvert, an officer of the New Zealand, in devising a scheme for Australasian submarine defences. It is understood that the Admiralty attaches' supreme importance to the submarines, which are destined to become Australia's first line of defence. An Admiralty expert in. naval aeronautics will also join Admiral Jellicoe in Australia for the purpose of organising aircraft defences in co-operation with . tho Commonwealth.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
