Sole (West End), Abbott (Fitzroy), and Hollard (Hawera) now romain in the competition. Hataitai teams for Saturday, February 8, are:—Stansell Shield: At Lyall Bay creen—Young, D. Claridjc, Fielding, Cheesman (s.) ;• Kershaw, Newton, A. Claridge, -G. Hendry (s.). Friendly, v. Victoria: Awav—WilMngs,.Ridley, Stonebanks, Gyles (5.).; Clark, Edwards, R. Ranipny. Julius («.); Wright, Shorney, Varnham, Chwholm ('.). Home—Kean, Buckmnster, Ansfey, I'ryor (s.): M'Gregor, Pritrbnrd. Blake, Penney ,(s.); Das6on, SfacKenzie, Shenlmnl, Slater (°O. Club rink, tourney:—Halliday (s.) v. Williams (s.); A'-doll (s.) v. Hain (s.); Dowling (s.) v, Barnes (s.). All bowling matches had to bo postponed on Saturday on account of the steadv soaking rain which fell throughout the day. Tho current, season has already established a worst-weather record. The Pennant matches, which cnnld not be playod, will take ?lace on Saturday next. (
