Ho was bom at Boston on July 25, 1857, which makes him Qv,er 61 years of age. He made his first . appearance as a newsboy in "The Law of New York" in his native (own, in March, M, and after playing in stock compan- - los, "mado his first appearance in New York at Tony .Pastor's, in December, 1875, in a vaudeville'sketch.
