DRESSES IN "OH, BOY"
Some very pretty dresses are worn in "Oh, Boys!" In tho first act Miss Grade Laver wears a dainty gown of white satin draped over an underskirt of white net, with a tiny rose pattern on it, pretty roije ribbon falls over the skirt on one side, and a. soft frilled fichu draped tho bodice. With it she wears a wtiite hat, with rose ribbons, in Early Victorian style. Eer "warm" wrap is of chiffon, with many pretty tassels. In scene 2 she wears a frock of palest primrose georgette, with two wide bunas of silk adorned with rose motifs. With this is worn a dainty hat, with a ivreatli i of tiny flowers. In the second act Miss Laver's frock is of palest pink georgette, with belt and brotiiles of old blue velvet, a pretty finish being a tasselled tie. The hat to go with this is white, with a. band of the blue, having pink embroideries on it. On her first appearance Miss Cecil Bradley wore a rose-colomred wrap, ornamented with gold medallions, and having a full flounce of chiffon lined with deep creamcoloured chiffon. The dress worn under this was a most alluring combination of black net, gold tissue, and velvet, tho distinguishing feature of which was' the glittering ornamentation of the underdress. Her next appearance was in a dainty boudoir jacket and cap—that, is, if one ignores the pale pink pyjamas, with blue trimming. In the" second act she wore a striking white costume, with black trimmings, a noticeable feature of which was the cape, which was short in front and fell well below the waist at the. back. With this she wore a small close-fitting hat, with flat black bows. Miss Maud Beatty's Quaker costumo was in rich brown silk. Miss Flossie Lusk wore a very striking gown of. lemon and black, the foundation consisting of broad stripes. On this were.draped side panels of black net, tho manv tiny frills edged with lemon silk. The lace yoke had touches of silver. Her cloak had, a becoming ruching, forming tho coilar, and a deep , yoke'of silver. With it she wore a black panne hat, with a transparent net brim. Miss Etorothv Purdell wore a charming white frock, with turquoise blue 6ash, and a very becoming black hat. Miss Madge Elliott's camouflage dress was most striking. All, the primary colours had a place in it, and were so deftly arranged that tho effect as she danced was charming. With it she wore a mauve picture
