At a'meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council, to-night it was decided that subscriptions., for 1917-18 should be remitted. Tlie Auckland Association forwarded, a resolution that the council be asked to amend the rules governing the Heath'cote AVilliams shield matches so as to give the local association the management thereof. It was'decided that it be a" recommendation to the Management Committee that all challenge matches be managed by the local associations. It was also decided that invitations be sent to the Marylebone Club's-team, which is to visit Australia, to extend its tour to New Zealand.' , The following- team will represent Thorndon in the third grade match today with Hutt:—Stanton, Hylt> ; i, dougall, Tilyard; : Bramley, Irvine, AVareham, Edmunds, Andrews, AVhittington, Pearce, Roxborough.' '
