Thomas, and Mr. A. Henderson, who ore giving attention to a tentative scheme to regulate international labour. Tho scheme aims at securing tho establishment of international minimum standard;. The immediate, objects include the appointmcnt of a preliminary 'commission by flic Peace Congress to inquire into the question of the international adjustment of labour conditions, the creation of a permanent bureau with a council drawn fiom Britain, France, America, Italy, and Japan, and the arranging of conventions. The principal practical aims include the prohibition of night work for women and children.
