Yesterday Detective-Sergeant Wilrd arrested Alice Scobel and Jean Ulyiins, both married women, on a charge of conspiring with u third purty to procure abortion. The accused iwe remanded to appear at Wellington on Wednesday. Substantial bail was fixed.
