DEATH OF AN ARTIST
(Rec. January 29, 8.10 p.m.) London, January 27. The death is announced of Mr. J. Byant Shaw, the artist.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [Mr. Shaw, who was born at Madras in 1872, was the son of Mr. John Shaw, Registrar of the High Court, Madras. He was taken to England when six years of age, and entered the. Royal Academy schools in 1889; His'first pioture to be exhibited at the Royal Academy (,'Roee Mary") was hung in 1893.]
