Baseßecords met Petone on Saturday, and placed 115 on the board in the first innings (Redmond 29, Evans 21, Shaw 20, and Hawkos 17). Corner wptured seven wickets for U rune. Petone made 85 (AmMer ID, Duncan 17, Rodger 15, and Corner 13). Redmond took four wickets for 18 runs and Valentino four for 34. Redmond and Valentine commenced tlio second innings for Base Record, nnd carried the score to 78 before Valentine was bowled nt 37. Redmond v*s stumped ffcortly after at 40, and a? the call of time the score stood three for 90. The game will be concluded next week.
