CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN MAY. By Telegraph-Prose 'Association. , Chrlstchurch, January 25. The Hon. 6. W. Russell announced today that it had been decided to hold a Town-Planning Conference in 'Wellington from May 6 to 10. •' Mr. S. Hirst Seager, the Christchurch architect, has been appointed honorary organising' director, and will take charge of all the arrangements. He had been given an office and a private secretary. Invitations to the conference would be issued, to all members of Parliament, mayors, engineers, and clerks of all. the principal municipal bodies, ito ' representatives from l the architects, tho engineers, and the surveyors' institutes, the trades- and labour councils, and to the women's > organisations of nil classes throughout the Dominion. ■ ■■ ;
