JAPAN'S SHIPPING LOSSES
HEAVY DAMAGES DEMANDED FROM GERMANY. New York, January 21. Tim Tokio correspondent or che "Now York Sun" says that-the Japanese, who have lost 32 ships, totalling 132,384 tons, by Gennan mines and torpedoes; demand that Germany shall pay a hundred million dollars (£20,000,000) for the damage.—Aus.-N.Z.
