, -. Advice has been received by Bnso Records Office that 10/669 Private Joseph Matthews, a returned discharged .soldier, died at the Southland Hospital on January 20. Deceased was '2i years of ago and single. His next-of-kin is Mr. John Matthews, Kapuka. 23,661 William Edward Aliearn,' ail undischarged soldier, died at the Auckland Hospital Annexe on January 22, tho cause of death being a gunshot, wound in the lung and cerebral a'bsceSs Deceased was 31 years of age, and single, his next-of-kin being his mother, Mrs. IC. Aliearn, 407 Pitt Street, Sydnoy.
