STATEMENT BY SIR. HENDERSON. ■ (Bee. January 24, 1 a.m.) Berne, January 21. Mr. Henderson, inter riewed, stated that he was unable to understand Mr. Gompers's change of front. He was one of four members appointed by the last Inter-Allied • Conference to sit concurrently with the Peace Conference. It was this mandate which the conveners of tho Berne Conference were carrying out. Mr. Gompera's objection is to ■meeting the Bolslieyiki, but neither the Russian Bolsheviki nor the German Spartaousians will ; be represented.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. AUSTRALIAN LABOUR.
