Naval V/edding. An interesting wedding took place at Bryii Chapel on January 14, when Miss B. A. Jenkins, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arclfryn Jenkins, Lnkefield Place, Llanolly (niece of the Eev. Howel Jenkins, Glyncorrwg), and Lieutenant William M'Leod, D.S.C., R.N.R., son of Captain and Mrs. G. M'Leod, Auckland (lat'o of Whangarei Heads), Now Zealand, were married, says _an exchange. The bride, who enjoys much popularity in West Wales as a vocalist, has since-the outbreak of war been dovoting horself to ambulance work, and was sister-in-chargo at a large West Wales factory. She also occupied a similar position at one of His Majesty's aircraft factories in the Midlands. At her wedding, Miss Jenkins, who was given away by her father, was attired in an indoor nurse uniform, while- her bridesmaid, Sister Thomas, of The Quarr, Clydach, wore ft, Red Cross uniform. The bridegroom, who was decorated by the King with tho Distinguished Service Cross a year or so ago, wore his navnl uniform, and was supported by Lieutenant Dodds, R.K.V.E.. of Now Zealand, also in uniform. The Rev. J. H. Evans, assisted , ' by tho 'Rev. Rees Griffiths, B.I)., M.A., of Park 'Congregational Church, performed tha ceremony. Aβ. the party left the church the "Wedding March" wag played by Private Llewelyn Edwards, of the Welsh Regiment, a' wounded soldier, who is now a patient at Pare Howard Ked Cross Hospital. Subsequently a reception was held at Femhank, Celesllill TSrrace, after which the newlymarried couple left for Warwick, where the honeymoon, which was liecossarily brief on account- of the bridegroom's naval duties, wns spent. An enjoyable dance, under tho auspices of the'Muritai Tennis Club, was hold in tlio Eastbourne Hall on Saturday, about seventy-five couples being present. The hall had been decorated with lycopodium and a number of flags. Supwr was provided on tho stago, a portion of which had been reserved for tho ohaperoneß (Mesdames Rayward and Renner). Excellent music was provided by. Mr. H. Wluteman; and Mr. Renner was M.C. The committee consisted of Missos F. Rayward and Vial, and Messrs. 0. Blackoy, Hull-Brown, Harbison, and Willis. Tho dance concluded with .the singing of the National Antbom.
