COMBINED HANDICAP TOURNAMENT. The. wet weather made it impossible to play the anniversary combined handicap .tournament on- the Day's Jiay courts, as was butarrangements wore made with tho "Wellington Club to hold the tournament on their courts. About twenty couples competed, and each played six matches. • Tho winners of the tournament were Miss A. Stevens and Mr. M'Carrol, who won all of their six matches. Miss Walters and Mr. Sullivan gained second place with live wins to their credit. ■ Winners of. four games each: —Miss Benge and Noes; Miss 'Riggs and Howie; Miss Sinclair and Instonc; Mr. and Airs. Henderson; Miss Ward and Pearson. , " ' ■ Winners of three games each: —Miss M. Ward and' Reeves; Miss Lockhart and Haig; MisH Heridry and Eades; Miss Taylor and Inch. Winnors of two games each: —Miss Manteil and Boddihgton; Miss C. Stevens and Leicester; Miss G. Stevens and Burns. Winners of ono gamo each: —Miss Atmoro and Turner; Miss Evison and Smith. LADIES' INTER-CLUB- MATCHES. The following are the fixtures for Saturday's matches:—Senior; Victoria Collego v. Ncwtown, at Victoria College; Petone Av. Potone B, at Pctono; Wellington A, v. Wellington B, at'AVcllington; Lower Hutt, a bye.
