CONSPIRACY AGAINST AMERICA'S

San Francisco, January 17. ~ Forty-six I.W.W. leaders have been found guilty in.the United States District Court of conspiracy against tho Government's war programme. : T}ie I.W.W. leaders were sentenced to imprisonment for from ono to ten years. Three have not' yet been sentenced. ,

[Thomas Mooney was sentenced to death for mnrdcr in connection with a dynamite outrage in San' Francisco. It is declared by American newspapers that his guilt was beyond doubt, but a very powerful ■ agitation was made in certain quarters of the Labour movement for his release, and finally he was reprieved and the sentence was commuted to a term of imprisonment.]
