Wanganui, January 21. The court-martial to try Lieutenant Crampton in connection with matters pertaining to the Wanganui Detention Barracks will sit at Wanganui tin January 29. It is understood that Lieutenant-Colonel Colquhoun will preside, and that associated with him will be Majors Hume, Mackeey, Henty, Aslnvith, and Talbot, and Captain Smith. Captain P. E. Baldwin will be Judge-Advocate. Eleven charges are to be preferred against Crampton, leging ill-treatment and permitting unnecessary, force to. be used on soldiers. , . Eioven charges have been laid against Lieutenant Crampton alleging that he ill-treated the following prisoners: Privates Harry Wilson,-W. B. Donovan, Joseph' M'Conville, Thomas Moynahan, Alister Beaton, Wilfred Badger, Frederick Palesen, and George Corian. .
