Nelson for' a.-transfer.' from the Thorndon Junior Club to the Imperial Supplies Senior 'Club was refused, as tho rules of the association ■■ prohibited such action. ; During the discussion on the case it : was suggested that the rule, was somewhat severe,' and that' such applications should'be left to the discretion' of the committee' The applicant had' joined the staff of the Imperial Supplies, arid dosired to play for that team. Thcv chairman pointed out that the rule in- question had been previously tliseussed, and it had been considered a necessity in order to prevent any alteration in the strength of the various teams during tho season. •
