CANARY SHOW
THE PRIZE LIST. The Wellington Pigeon, Canary, and Cat's Club sixth annual show was held at the Victoria Hnll, Adelaide Road, on Saturday. Tho president of tho club, Mr. T. Graham, in declaring the show open, remarked on the large number of entries and tho splendid quality 'of the birds. Throughout the day the show was well patronised. Tiio following are tho results;— CANARIES. The Norwich Shield for birds of theNorwich variety was won by E. Bullen. Open class, Norwich, clear or ticked yellow—ls. Bullea, 1; '«. Bailey, 2. Yellow, lightly variegated—l 3. Dullen, 1 and 3; "\V. Blackie, 2. Green or foul green yellow—AV. Blackie, 1. • Clear or ticked buff—A. Carver, 1; E. Bullen, 2 and 3.
Buff, lightly variegated—,). Hall, 1 and special; it. Bailey, 2; J. 15. Henderson, 3. Buff, heavily variegated—,T. Hall, I; W. Blackie, 2; J. 111. Henderson, 3. The Yorkshire Shield for birds of the Yorkshire variety was won by R. Bailey.

The first prizes were won by Madame Mueller .(2), Mrs. Mullins, Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Bernasconi, Mrs. Organ, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Stanbridge, Mrs. Patterson, W. Lock, Mr. Donovan, Mrs. New, Mrs. 'Mason, N. A. Lloyd, Mrs. Beckett, Mrs. Winter (and special), and Miss Lowe. PIGEONS. First prize-takers in the fancy class were:—C. Vogthers, M. G. Grcenside, W. Bailey (2 and special). In working homers first pi-izes were gained by C. Ridding (2 and special), 0. Drover (2 and special), 11. Hastie (2 and special), J. F. LeggvMrs. K. Lowe, ID. Vogthers (and special), W. E. Clark (2 and special), H. H. Lyspitt (and special). The lady's bracelet was won by Mrs. J. Perritt. .
