Sydney, January 18. Dr. Pnton, head of the Health Department, discredits the .statement that a lighthouso-keeper contracted pneumonic influenza notwithstanding that he was isolated for eiglit months. Ho declares that it has been proved that ono must come into contact with a sufferer before one can contract the disease. —Press Assn.
