A TALK ON EDUCATION. Dr. Siegfried, of the Trench Mission, yesterday afternoon had a conference Willi'' the "Minister of Education and the professors of Victoria College. Dr. Siegfried "spoke! of the possibility, of establishing some closer ■.-relationship between the University of New Zealand and the Universities of France, mentioning tho ; possibility-of interchange ■ of professors and of secondary school touchers,: and the" possibility, of giving concessions to students..'from either country, more especially to those taking up scientific research.
