RAILWAY OFFICERS' CLASSIFICATION

The Railway Officers' Institute has considered the question of v the- new Classification Act, and the schedule! thereto, and proposals based upon tho increased cost of living will be made to the Minister. Conference is strongly of opinion that a Staff Board, upon which officers of the Service should lw adequately represented is a very desirable reform, and this will be pressed upon the Department.
