London, January 15. Lieutenant-Colonel Rutherford and Major "Seton became acquainted on active service. Both were prominent medical men. Lieutenant-Colonel Rutherford is an authority on anatomy and human embryology. He was lately Assistant Commissioner of . Medical Services. _ . Major Seton was attached to Harefield Hospital.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. N [The..late'.- Major Seton was a resident of Melbourne, where he acted as honorary. anaesthetist at the" Alfred Hospital.
