Mission, and which was. at first postponed on account of the indisposition of General Pau. has been abandoned.' There is much uncertainty now in the running.of the ferry service, and there is. also some little .uncertainty as to when General Pau will be able to come here. He hopes to leave Dunedin on. '■.'■' The members of the mission were entertained yesterday by the New Zealand Club and the French Club at luncheon The rest of the'day they spent •busily- following their several' commercial interests'. Dr. Siegfried addressed the Chamber of Commerce, and ho and other members with' him discussed 'business and trade with- representatives of that/body. ' : '' . ■ '■.''
