FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for cloudy, unsettled weather, with rain probable generally, and strong squally westerly winds backinc to southerly shortly in tho Bouth. Baromotor unsteady, fallintr in the north, but rising in the south soon. A westerly low pressure area still dominates, and westerly winds have prevailed; strong to gale tit timee in tho south of Cook Strait.
