KING'S THEATRE. The. last- two nighta of the current programme at the King's .Theatre are announced. Those who have not already seen Norma Talmadgo in the feature' drama, "The Ghosts of Yesterday," should not miss the opportunity either to-night or to-morrow .nighti A particularly good Mack Sennett comedy is being screened, entitled "The Cleveo ■Dummy,": also the current issue of file "Patho Gazette," which is invariably an acceptable item on the proKranime. The music by the King's Orchestra is quite a treat. The plan is at the Bristol, and after 6.30 p.m. seats may he reserved by ringing. the King's telephone 3143.

' EVERTBbDT'S THEATRE. "A Million Bid," a Vitagrapli • Company production, is the feature this week at Everybody's Theatre. The story deals with a mother who is willing to sacrifice her daughter for wealth. Running' through.the'drama is a well-defined love story. ■' Anita Stewart is featured in the leading Tole. Other items include a most laughable Trianale comedy, entitled "His Sudden Rival," also the latest "Pathe Gazette." ' ■ EMPRESS THEATRE. : Politics form a very effective background to tlfe WorW film; "The Heart of a Girl," now screening at the Empress Theatre with Barbara Castleton as the star. Against this background is thrown a pretty love etory with fine situations and many dramatic moments. The supporting programme is well varied. The topical subjects dealing with events .incidental to the great war are of a most interesting' description. The humorous element in the bill is sufficient to satisfy all tastes. The programme will be' repeated to-day. QUEEN'S THEATRE. The Queen's Theatre is screening every afternoon a film picturising the age-old fairy story, "Jack and the Beanstalk." The entire, company engaged in the story total 1300,' and they are headed by the five-year-old Francis Carpenter in the role of Jack. The picture is a most elaborate one, and its producers have devised a number of new and ingenious effects.
