LARGE BRITISH AIRSHIPS
BEING BUILT FOR SEA PATROL, (Rec. January 15, 7.10 p.m.) London, January 13. A big programme of airship con« stmction by tho Admiralty includes airships with a gas capacity of 2} million cubic feet, a range of eight sand miles, and a speed of sixty to' seventy miles per hour. The ships will have a lifting capacity of sixty tolls , and carry a crew of twenty-five. Tho first of the ships will be launched towards the end of the year. It is stated, that they are primarily built for sea patrol and observation work, and will be stationed on the- coast.; — Reuter. /
