AUSTRALIAN COMMISSIONER'S INVESTIGATIONS., New York, January 11. Mr. Beeby, Australian Commissioner in the United States, is leaving for a tour of Boston and. other northern cities, where he will continue his investigation of industrial conditions. Interviewed by the Australian Press Association, Mr. Beeby said America hae a commanding financial position which she will retain lor many years. If Australia continues borrowing for development she will be forced to seek' new fields for capital, and will naturally turn towards America, where tho 'world's surplus' capital is available. American financiers will be attracted to Australia if the possibilities of the Commonwealth are given the necessary publicity. The industrial unrest in the American centres. is due to the lack of compulsory arbitration.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. " . '
