THE FRENCH MISSION

MEMBERS ARRIVE TO-DAY. General Pa.u, the Chief of the French Mission, is ill at-Dunedin, and he will not arrive to-day with members of the mission. If is hoped that he will be veil enough on Thursday to travel north. Owing to Ills' indisposition, the reception arranged for to-day has been postponed. With General Pan in Dunedin remain Commandant Andre and M. Bader. Other members of the mission arrive here this morning. They have appointments with Ministers and heads or Departments, and with business men and representatives of Labour.

Members of the mission will be tho guests of the Now Zealand Club and the French Club at luncheon this week.
