ROBBERIES BY GERMAN SOLDI3RS
Brussels, January 10. A number of German soldiers, disguised in khaki, hold up householders in Gladbach and adjacent villages and robbed them of considerable sums of money. In one case £1500 was stolen. Sixteen of them wcro arrested,—Aus.N.Z; Cable Assn. TIN-PLAEE INDUSTRY ESTABLISHMENT 7 IN AUSTRALIA. Melbourne, January 13. Mr. W.. A. Watt, Acting-Federal I'rime Minister, announced that the plans are almost completed for the establishment of the tinplato industry in Australia.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
