MINISTER HAS NOTHING MORE TO SAY. . The further complaint made by the father of- the soldier Roy Clemens, who died at Haiinier of influenza, , was brought before the notice of the Minister of Defence yesterday. Sir Jamea Allen said that he had no more to say about the -matter, on which he had already made a very full statement. So far as he knew, everything' in the statement he had' made was fact. The complaint of Mr. Clemens is that his "boy contracted' influenza by contact with the orderly sent with him from Auckland Hospital to Hanmer, this orderlj' having been recently enpaged in nursing influenza oases from, tho Niagara. The statement of the Defence Minister was that lie .-was advised that the- orderly had not been in. contact with influenza pstients ' for some two weeks beforo he went with Roy Clemens to Hanmer.
