Present indications arc for strong and variable winds, but northerlies prevailing, soon, and increasing atrong to pale, with a Tallin? barometer everywhere. Weather becoming cloudy, un-. settled, and boisterous, with rain following generally. The barometer has been unsteady generally, but has continued low in the south. Moderate to strong south-west to north-west winds have prevailed.
