Tlfo British Committee which was appointed two months ago to inquire into breaches. of .the laws of war is making good progress. Various subcommittees are dealing with questions of law, the ill-treatment of prisoners, offences at sea, and the indiscriminate bombardment of towns. All the subcommittees still have a large mass of evidence to gift, and the committee's final conclusions will, probably not be reached for months.
The on law has already submitted'a .special report conveying its unanimous conclusion that it was desirable to take proceedings against the ex-Kaiser.—Rcuter.
