After the secretary of the Seamen!? Uniou li«d accepted the Union Company's terms on behalf of the men the l&tter, at a meeting, refused .to endorse his ?ction, arid a deadlock ensue 4._ Seeing tbe feeling .of the men the union officials decided not to push the matter, arid adjourned .tho meeting till ten o'clock on Monday, when it is hoped that more reasonable counsels • will prevail. One of- those present subsequently stated-that the meeting 'did not represent the majority of the members. If Monday's meeting is a representative one, it is sure to revise the previous decision. Tlie 'latest , developments hjive upset the arrangements for dispatching vessels to New Zealand, and nothing can now be done until tomorrow decision is known.---Press Assn.
