A deputation representing the University Council waited on She Minister of Education, and asked for a grant of rfilfiOO for the completion of the Home Science Buildings, and for a grant to enable the council to make substantial increases in the salaries of tho professors. The Hon. J. A..Hanan, in reply, said he approved of the home science grant, and regarding ' the other matter said that, while favourably disposed towards tho request, he would take time to .'look into the whole matter of the salaries of University professors.
