A brisk southerly wind with a distinct "nip" in it, was the of yesterday's "summer" weather. Iresent indications ara for southerly breezes, veering to freshening westerlies and northerlies soon. Fair to cloudy weather is probable generally, but unsettled and squally conditions are likely to-follow'shortly,'especially in and southward of Cook Strait.
