The conference between representatives of the Tramways Union, on the,one hand, and the City Council snd the two hill tramway companies Jon the other hand, was resumed to-day- A complete agreement was reached between the disputants so far as the city and the Mornington lines are concerned. Representatives ot the' Roslyn and the Kaikorat Companies ware unable to see their way clear to comply with what was, after much argument, accepted by the City Council delegates, and a conference .between the union men and the managers of the northern hill companies will be held to-morrow. i ■"-" ■ ■
