Hngger, Conciliation Commissioner, presiding. The workers asked tor.,an eight-hour day with overtime to operate afterwards at time nnd 11 half rates. on Wiis demand continued for three hours, when the city tramway representatives agreed to a minimum of. eight hours with time nnd a quarter rates for the first hour and time and a half rates afterwards. .The workers, accepted this proposal, and a modification of it was agreed upon by representatives of the Roslyn and Kaikoriu.
