The National.Council of the New Zealand Federation of Labour has-instruct-ed Mr, Hiram Hunter, national secretary, to call a, conference of representatives of all national organisations affiliated'to the federation. These include the miners, drivers, waterside workers, freezing works omployees, and hoot operatives federations, and the/Railway Servants' Society. The conference wjU meet in Wellington at the end of January or beginning of 'February. The object announced is "to decide on a common policy."
