KINO'S THEATRE. A good story, well told and capably actod, describes "The Honeymoon, , the_ feature of this week's bill at the King s Theatre. ' It deals with a young brido who, while on her honeymoon, bccomes very jealous of her husband because she finds him talking to other women. She catches her husband behind the scenes at the theatre with a musical vampire star. Divorce proceedings immediately ensue, and things become very complicated for the young couple. The management of the King's Theatre intends ushering the New Tear in i with" a" special feature, starring--one ofthe world's greatest screen scttrcsses. TJie super-drama is entitled "Marionettes," and the star is Clara Kimball .Young. "Marionettes" will be first screened in Wellington on Saturday at the matinee. The title of this feature arises from the identity of its plot with the story of a puppet show in which a neglected wife converts ,the indifference of her husband to love by making him jealous through an "affair." . During the interval the augmented King's Orchestra- will play "Chopin's famous "Battle Polonaise" (Op. 53), specially transcribed and conducted bv Mr. L. I). Austin.. The plan for the Clara Kimball Young week is on view at the Bristol, and'intending patrons are advised to book early. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. "The Sudden Gentleman," which forms the feature of this week's programme at Everybody's Theatre, is a Triangle'production, which/is proving a big draw. Two popular artists are featured-in the principal': roles, William Desmond and Mary M'lvor The main portion of the film' is decidedly dramatic, but there is a welconje: vein of., humour.
