WET WEATHER PREVENTS PLAT. Light driving rain, which gradually increased as the day wore on necessitated the abandonment of play in connection with the Wellington Bowling Centre's annual tournament on Saturday. Those engaged in the tournament should note that the section play arranged for Saturday will lake place to-day. The locations for the various sections will be ns follow: —A Section, Kelburn Green; ("! Section, Thorndrfn Green; D Section, Wellington Green; E Section, Victoria Green; F Section, Newtown Green. The semi-finals will be played to-morrow and Hie final on Wednesday (New Year's Day).
