Many Ni Zealand officers wero present, ihcludi General Stewart. Great, cliGHring. greet the All-Blacks' appearance on the fie! The game throughout was fast,, open, aj spectacular, resolving itself into a dv between tho New Zealand aggressive fi ward attacks, •in which dribbli and excellent footwork were $ minent, and the superb trie, Welsh back play. The Welsh got pi session of the ball more frequently aj handled it belter than the New Zealar ers.. At half-time there wae no eco! Insufficient policing arrangements perm led the crowds to invade the field, neej sitnting several stoppages. In the second half, after splendid pa ing through nearly all the. backs, Wa 1 scored at a corner, brushing against t spectators. The try was not convert] The New Zealanders made tremende efforts to equalise-matters, hanging! to the AVelsli line. There was a gr( passing display between Brown, Taur M'Naught, and Cockroft, The last-nani failed by inches under the posts. '1! game was truly a memorable oho, j though hardly equal to past internatiof standards.'
