Weather fair and hazy, with increasing cloudiness generally, nnd scattered rainfall followiiiE. Barometer unsteady, A disturbance centred in the vicinity of Chatham Islands on Wednesday accounted for moderate- to strong eoutlicrjv winds and cold, unsettled feather with' rain in many parts.
