WELLINGTON CENTRE'S TOURNAMENT SECOND DAY'S PLAY Keen . greens. and bright sunshine. f ftvoured the bowlers yesterday who we engaged in tho Wellington Centre's annual tournament .on the city and suburban greens. Although there has been comparatively .-little play on local greens some-- of them . wre already showing bare brown patches, where thoro should be a thick pud of green grass. Probably the weather . has -had something to: do with this stato of affairs, for it-cannot, very well be attributed to hard wear, as it might in- a fine-weather ' season. .
