INTER-STATE CRICKET RESUMED
NEW SOUTH WALES V. VICTORIA. (Rec. December 20, JO.VO p.m.) Melbourne, December 26. The first inter-State cricket match since the war, New South Wales versus Victoria, is being- played. Noble reappeared against Victoria after ton years' absence from big cricket. Rain spoiled the play and the wicket was slow. Victoria is seven wickets down for 250, the chief scores being: Baring 131 and Armstrong 68— Press Assn.
