CRICKET
REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. A Canterbury cricket team will play a return match with Wellington on January 22, 23, and 24. • The following team has been chosen to represent Wellington against Hutt Valley on Christmas Day:—Windley, Eaton, Patrick, Gibson, Wngstnfl, Bowls, Little, Birch, Millar, Thomas, Tucker. The Wellington representative team left for the south last iiiglit. Tuckwell, Beechey, and Patricklinving dropped out were replaced by Dind, Hutchings, and Fenton. The match will begin at Christchurch to-morrow, and being a Plunket Shield contest will be played to a finish. BOYS' LEAGUE TOURING TEAMS. The following two teams have, been chosen to represent the Wellington Boys' Cricket League in their matches 'at Christchurch on New Year's Day:—
Senior.—O'Neill, Bromley, Morgan (Thorndnn), Faber, Lawrence (St. Thomas's), Softley, Bing, Barr (Institute), Reeve, Greig, Eton (St. Culhbert's). Emergencies: Henrne (St. Culhbert's), Grenside (St. Thomas's).
Junior: Davies, Burke (Marist), Dnwe, Banks, Dempster, Malcolm, Tucker (Institute), Oliver, Warwick (Y.M.C.A.), Bennett (St. Cuthberl's), Bentley (St. Thomas's). Emergencies: Guy (Institute), Telford (Seatoun).
