POPULAR OVATION TO THE KING London, December 22. • The Madrid correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that serious Separatist disturbances occurred at Baree- 1 lona and Bilbao. Tho Government adopted strong,naval and military measures. The Mayor of Barcelona was" court-mar-tialled. King Alfonso received an ovatidn in Madrid on returning from military manoeuvres.—Aus.-N.Z.
