A SATISFACTORY YEAR, • The annual meoting of tho Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society was; hektat Goober's room, Cuba Street, on Saturday evening The president of the society (Mr. J. Currie) was in the chnir, and there was a very zood attendance of members. The judges of the various sections gave their service* free.

Canary, nnd Cat Society.'" 'A letter of condolence with Mv. GalHchan, one oF the oldest members of the society, in the loss of his wife, wm passed, and the meeting adjourned for a short period as a mark of respect.
