UNITED STATES MAY HE REQUIRED TO RESTORE ORDER. (Rec. December 'JO, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 18. The United Press Washington correspondent says it is expected that Britain will ask tlie United States to settle the unstable conditions in Jlexico. Britain has been undergoing great difficulties in obtaining her rights in Jlexico with reference to the exportation of oil. It is felt sure that the proposed League of Nations will require the United States lo citusn the. requisite order and recognition of foreign rights in Mexico.—Aue.N.Z. Cable Assn.
